Ford Freeform Fabrication Technology (F3T), 3d printing with sheets of metal

Ford developed new prototyping technology. It makes 3d prototypes from sheets of metal using robotic hands. Looks cool and it will probably be standard full production technology one day.

Two pressure heads moved via robotic hands shape the model from two sides.

Update:
The technology is not new, probably only the implementation and new machinery is developed.
